How this is measured
- TransLink's real-time trip updates are sampled every minute. When a stop is passed, the last real-time prediction for it is recorded as the actual time and compared with the timetable.
- On time means no more than 1 minute early or 5 minutes late, measured at every observed stop. Departs on time uses the first stop only, and Arrives on time the last stop only. Mid-point on time uses the timing stops the operator nominates in Settings, from the day each is turned on.
- Tracked compares trips seen in the real-time feed with trips scheduled since sampling began. A gap can mean a trip ran without tracking as well as a trip not run. Cancelled counts trips TransLink marked as cancelled.
- Results are indicative and depend on vehicle tracking quality. They are not TransLink's official contract performance figures.
